hey have I ever mentioned how much I hate my history teacher jesus christ we had to read The White Man’s Burden and circle ten words we didn’t know but being not entirely brain dead I knew all of the words but she said ‘well just define ten words anyway’ and I sighed and she said ‘I know life is hard and then you die’ oh my god so I just defined the first ten words of the poem oh and she made us use paper dictionaries like the big books from 1993 because let’s make this stupid menial task as difficult and tedious as possible I will vomit all over her see if I don’t
that “words you don’t know” thing has exactly happened to me
it is the dumbest task
