Minecraft is a whole lot more exciting to watch. You see someone build something awesome, then you load it up and you’re like “Oh yeah, it’s just blocks”i’m not very interested in watching people just build things
because like … when you’ve seen one person building something you’ve seen them all
it’s cool to see the things people have built but i don’t care about watching them do it
also i have zero interest in watching people build like big statues of mario or whatever
if you’re gonna build something in a minecraft game, make it be a house or a building or something to that actually makes some sense being where it is
otherwise it’s just not interesting to me at all
i like seeing people with good eyes for aesthetics and architecture just play the regular game and solve problems and use materials well
yeah people making massive Marios or the TF2 logo or whatever… come on! It just turns into “look at what I made in this arbitrarily limited pixel art program”.
